Drum Lessons in Nunawading

Jam Station Music offers professional drum lessons for students of all ages, based in Nunawading and conveniently located for families in Blackburn, Box Hill, Mitcham, Vermont and Forest Hill. Whether you’re picking up sticks for the first time or refining technique for performance, lessons are structured to build real skill while keeping practice genuinely fun.

What You’ll Learn

Our drum lessons follow a graded, proven syllabus covering rhythm, timing, technique, reading drum notation, and playing along to contemporary music styles. Students build a strong foundation while working on songs and styles that keep them motivated.

Structured Progression (Exams)

For students who want formal recognition of their progress, we prepare serious students for Rock School exams, available from beginner grades through to advanced levels — a genuine, internationally recognised marker of progress.

Who It’s For

Drum lessons at Jam Station Music suit complete beginners, students returning to the instrument, and more advanced players preparing for exams or band performance. Every lesson plan is tailored to the individual student.
